I can’t say enough good things about Jody and her breeding program. I have worked directly with dogs (medical, training, grooming) for twenty years so am, admittedly, overly particular about dog breeders. Jody is the type of breeder I tell all of my clients to try and find when getting a new puppy, no matter the breed. After our phone interview, I figured out pretty quick that she wants nothing more than produce quality over quantity, and (to my amazement), listened extremely well and helped match what I was looking for in both intelligence, demeanor, and coat type. Bohr is EVERYTHING I was looking for and more. He is 7.5 years old and athletic, beautiful, insanely smart (almost too much sometimes), and tough as boot leather. When I post picture of him, I have other breeders ask who bred him. He’s that conformationally correct and what a Giant should be. I can’t thank her enough for trusting me with this dude!

We have known Jody for over 14 years. What a treasure she is to the breeding world. If I ever have a question I call Jody before I call my vet. She is so knowledgeable and helpful about the Giants, but always says to check with my vet if there is a major concern. Why did I purchase my first Giant from Jody? Here is why. At 63 years of age, after having mini's for over 25 years, I decided to get a Giant. After much research I contacted Jody and began a long dialogue with her. What surprised me the most about Jody was how concerned she was for the home her puppy would be going to. She really cares about each of the homes her puppies are going to be calling home. That is what sold me on her and her breeding program. Our first two Giants, a female and a male, have since gone to doggie heaven. Even then Jody was there for me and supported me through our loss. We now have another female from Jody, Cricket, or Cricky as I call her. She is my shadow during the day and cuddles up to me at night. Cricket is much smarter than I am at times but is so very loving and huggable. We have traveled from central WA to Jody's farm many times, in fact she is considered one of our family. So we know the facility quite well and have been impressed with how much love and attention is given to all her dogs. Our puppys were hand delivered at birth and that caring continued until we brought them home. Anyone wishing to add a new dog to be part of their family can not go wrong with one of Jody's puppies.

I'm from the Chicago area and have had Giant Schnauzers since the 80's. When I moved out to Colorado in 2013 I decided that I wanted another giant. I searched the internet and came across Jody. Once I zeroed in on her I did more research and Jody gave me the names of some of her clients. I actually contacted 3 of them and they all gave me glowing reports. We got Zorba our 4th giant about 7 years ago from Jody. He's been the greatest dog we ever had. His temperament is great and he's always good with other dogs. He's super good with my 4 and 1 year old grand kids, in fact with all kids and other dogs. He's a real home body. A giant is not the kind of dog that will run off when you open the door. A giant is a "watch dog". When he goes out he barks for a bit to let anyone or any animal around know that he's there. I've followed Jody for the last 7 years and she is always bringing in new dogs from out of the country so her dogs don't suffer from any inbreeding problems. I would recommend Jody to anyone who wants a quality giant.
